Ute Armanski was born in Windsbach, Franconia
and has lived and worked in Munich since 1970.
After studying social pedagogy in Munich, she worked in the area of
youth culture and with community institutions, including on exchange
programmes for young people and adults in Scotland and Turkey. In 2000
she founded the Nordhaide Children's Center in Munich and was responsible
for it through 2010.
She has traveled widely in Britain and the USA, and attended language
study courses in Cambridge, London, Ipswich (UK) and San Francisco
(USA).
Her professional experience in the area of culture and the arts
includes:
- participation in film projects in New York and with a theatre agency
and the film festival in San Francisco (USA)
- conception and implementation of theatre projects in Austria, Romania,
Ukraine and Wales
- management of “Koordination Neues Theater Muenchen”
- member of the media bureau for the festival “Europa Musicale” Munich
Ute Armanski has attended advanced courses in public relations at
the Bavarian Press Academy in Munich.
She is a member of the Press Club Munich (media division), Journalists
help Journalists www.journalistenhelfen.org.,
the Munich Chamber for Industry and Commerce,Windsbacher Knabenchor and RWV International.
She is the co-founder of the informal media network “KulturPresseMuenchen”.
She has been a freelance public relations advisor since 1993.
